Halwa Puri


1/2 kg Potato - boiled with skin and mashed very coarsely with hand (should still have chunks)

1/2 tsp haldi

saunf, methi dana, kalonji, rai, and white zeera (1-sawa tsp equal qty of each)

Add salt, haldi to potato, top with water. Add all the masala. Add 3-5 small button red chili (some lightly crushed). Cover and cook for a while os the potatoes can absorb the spices.

For puri:

1kg maida

1/2 chp ghee only not oil

salt

water

Knead until not too soft and not too soft.

Halwa:

Add sugar (1 cup or so), add a little orange food coloring and add some water

Add rava and cook until thickened. Add ghee. Add crushed cardamom and a little rose water.
